1,Revison:  Revise  verbs  like,  think,  read,  write,  etc,  get  the  students  to  give  plurals

such  as.  eat  some  bread  and  read  English  books.

2,Presentation.

Teach  “what  are  you  doing;”  Explain  that  it  refers  to  what  a  person  is  doing  at  the  moment.

Ask  a  student  who  is  good  at  drawing  to  come   to  the  blackboard  and  draw  a  picture  while  he  is  drawing  ask”  What  is  he  doing?

Have  the  students  answer  “He  is  drawing  Then  ask  one  student  to  clean  the  blackboard.  While  he  is  cleaning  ask  “what  is  he  doing  ?  Have  them  answer  “He  is  cleaning  the  blackboard.  Give  some  examples  like  this  then  teach  participle  form.  If  the  letter “E”  is  sillent. You  must  take  it  away!  Then  add  “ing”

Step 4:  Practice

Listen  to  the  tape.  Then  use  the  computer  to  show  ten  pictures.  Students  work  in  pairs  asking  each  other  questions  about  them  .

Step5:

Homework.

Make  5  sentences  using  the  present  continuous  tense.
