Step 2 Presentation.

Talk aboout the picture . Ask What can you see? Tesch the words examine .and patient .Tell students : Read the dialogue and find out what the matter with Sharon is . Wht does she have pain ?Go through the dialogue with the students and make sure the students Understand it .Explain any difficult language points.

Step 3 Dialogue

Play the tape for the students .Listen and repeat .Then let the students pratise the dialogue in pairs .Ask some pairs to act it out .If you wish .

Step 4 Pairwork

Go through the phrases and make sure the students understand them .
